Snow Chains & Snow Physics
Bring true winter driving to your server with dynamically slippery snow and fully functional snow chains. Players can install chains on any vehicle for increased traction, with all setups saved and synced. Configure every detail to fit your server and optionally restrict installation to specific jobs
Realistic Winter Handling
Driving in snow becomes noticeably more challenging thanks to a fully adjustable handling overhaul that increases slipping, reduces overall traction, and creates much longer braking distances, especially at higher speeds. Vehicles will feel heavier and less responsive in winter conditions, making careless driving far more punishing and realistic. These physics apply across all snowy weather types in FiveM, ensuring consistent behavior no matter the storm.
Server owners can fine-tune the handling, allowing them to create anything from light winter roads to hazardous blizzard environments tailored to their server’s style.
Functional Snow Chains
Players can install snow chains on any vehicle, with each chain adding meaningful traction and improving control on icy or snowy roads.
Chains automatically scale to tire size, work on all vehicle types, and remain saved even after storing or restarting the vehicle, ensuring a consistent and realistic winter driving experience.
Damage & Immersion Systems
Chains behave realistically, they can wear down, spark, and break under harsh conditions. Combined with your configured snow physics, every winter drive becomes a meaningful gameplay experience.
Fully Configurable & Job-Based
Server owners can fine-tune traction, snow slipperiness, and chain behavior through a detailed config. Installation can be restricted to mechanics or left open to all players depending on your server’s style.
Optimized Models
The chain model is highly detailed but also optimized by making use of LODs. Ensuring great script performance and optimization
Performance & Optimization
Everything is built with optimization and performance in mind. All state changes are performed through light-weight statebags.
Only nearby vehicles will listen to their state changes and perform necessary actions. Meaning that even with hundreds of vehicles, the script still runs at peak performance. No matter the player count.
The script performs at 0.00 - 0.01ms.
