# Electus Pets MLO
Four FiveM pet interiors in one resource: the Animal Ark pet shop, a veterinary clinic, a dog shelter and a dog training center, with more than 130 custom props and live display animals.
## Summary
Electus Pets MLO adds four pet interiors to FiveM servers. The Animal Ark pet shop and a veterinary clinic share the Bean Machine block in Vespucci, and a dog shelter and a dog training center fill two yard sheds in Del Perro. The interiors work on their own with any framework. With Electus Pets, the pet shop, accessory shop, vet, shelter and training ground move into them automatically, so players buy, heal, adopt and train their pets in purpose-built rooms.
## Features
### Animal Ark Pet Shop
A pet store with a checkout counter, pet food shelves, toy, bed and fashion displays, a grooming station, an indoor playground with a small agility set, and a staff backroom.
### Adoption Pods
A wall of eight lit pods behind the counter. With Electus Pets they hold resting pets for sale, from pugs and cats to huskies and rottweilers.
### Pet Hall and Aviary
A second hall with a walk-around aviary, bird cages, an aquarium wall, a terrarium rack and enclosures for cats, puppies and rabbits.
### Live Display Animals
18 cats, puppies, rabbits and birds rest, sit and eat in the pet hall. The MLO spawns them itself, with or without Electus Pets.
### Veterinary Clinic
A reception and waiting room, two operating rooms with operating tables and surgical lights, and a recovery ward with kennels, supply shelves and care posters.
### Dog Shelter
A lobby with a reception desk and a meet and greet pen, 14 numbered kennel runs with kennel cards, and a care room with an exam table.
### Dog Training Center
A reception with a trainer desk, certificate wall and leaderboard, and an arena with a full agility course: start and finish gates, hurdles, a tunnel, weave poles, an A-frame and a pause table.
### Obedience, Scent and Bitework Stations
A 15 m obedience lane marked at 0, 5, 10 and 15 m, a line of six scent boxes, a padded bitework pen with a sleeve rack and bite suit, treadmills and a tyre pull.
### Vehicle Search Bay and Dog Run
A marked vehicle search bay and a dog run outside the training center.
### Built for Pet AI
Every obstacle is sized for the biggest dogs, and the stations are linked by clear straight lines, so pets run the whole course without a navmesh.
### Pets Stay Visible
A room keeper moves pets into the right room when they slip past a door, so they are never drawn only through the windows.
### Custom Lighting
Every room uses its own timecycle for a warm, even light instead of the default interior look.
### Spawnable Props
More than 130 custom props, from kennel runs and agility obstacles to aquariums, signs and vet equipment. They load with the MLO, so other scripts can spawn them anywhere, for example to build an outdoor training course.
## Usage
### Install
Add electus_pets_mlo to your resources and ensure it in your server.cfg. The interiors load on start.
### Use With Electus Pets
Ensure electus_pets_mlo before electus_pets. Electus Pets detects it and moves its pet shop, accessory shop, vet, shelter and training locations into the interiors. The settings are in `config/mlo.lua` in Electus Pets. Remove an entry there to keep that location where it was.
### Buy a Pet
Players pick a pet at the Animal Ark checkout counter and see it on the rug in front of the adoption pods.
### Treat a Pet
Hurt pets are treated on the clinic's operating tables.
### Adopt or Surrender
At the shelter players surrender pets they no longer want and adopt pets others left, one pet per kennel run. The previous owner can reclaim a pet before anyone else adopts it.
### Train
The trainer in the arena runs a drill for each skill and ability exams across the agility course, obedience lane, scent boxes, bitework pen and treadmills.
### Staff the Shop and Clinic
The vet and petshop jobs in Electus Pets run the clinic and the shop. With nobody on duty, the NPCs serve players.
## Technical Details
### Requirements
None for the interiors. Electus Pets 5.3 or newer is needed for the pet shop, vet, shelter and training gameplay.
### Frameworks
A standalone map resource that works with any framework.
### Locations
Animal Ark and the veterinary clinic are on the Bean Machine block in Vespucci. The dog shelter and the dog training center are two yard sheds side by side in Del Perro.
### Map Edits
Replaces the base game buildings and occlusion at both spots, so it can't run alongside another MLO in the same buildings.
### Props
Three prop packs (pet shop, shelter and training) with `ep_` model names, loaded on start.
